Howard Cure Quoted on New York City Debt by Bloomberg

The Evercore Wealth Management Director of Municipal Bond Research, Howard Cure, was quoted by Bloomberg Politics on Mayor Bill de Blasio’s proposed record $78 billion budget.
“He’s spending but not overspending,” Cure told Bloomberg. “It’s always nice to govern with money. The real test will be how he does if there’s a downturn.”
The mayor has additionally proposed a record $84 billion spending program over the next decade for infrastructure.
