John Apruzzese Interviewed on Investment Strategy by the New York Times

The endowment model is more risky for private investors than a 60/40 split between equities and fixed income, said John Apruzzese, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Evercore Wealth Management, in an interview with Paul Sullivan in the New York Times.
“If you expect inflation to stay low, then the 60/40 split is less risky than the traditional endowment model,” John said, noting that inflation has averaged 1.7 percent over the past 25 years.
