New York Times Features Evercore Wealth Management Educational Programs
October 8, 2016
Evercore Wealth Management clients and Minneapolis-based Partner & Portfolio Manager Martha Pomerantz were featured in an article in the Wealth Matters section of the New York Times. The article, Making Financial Management Both Spouses’ Job, focuses on the importance of engaging both partners in the wealth planning process, even if they have very different levels of financial expertise.
Ms. Pomerantz observed that advisors can help start a conversation. She said that she makes a point of addressing the spouse, male or female, who seems to know less. “I make sure that other spouse feels included,” she said. “We present the material in a simple way. It’s more about what’s important to the family.”
