Fred is a Senior Advisor to Evercore Wealth Management and is a member of the Investment Policy and Equity Selection Committees.

Fred joined Evercore in 2008 after a 40-year career at U.S. Trust. He retired in 2004 as the Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer.

He graduated with a B.A. with Distinction from Wesleyan University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He served with the United States Army Security Agency from 1966 through 1967.

Fred is a former member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts, the Association for Investment Management and Research, the board of the Vero Beach Museum, the National Council of the Norman Rockwell Museum. He served as a member of the board of trustees of Wesleyan University where he was elected an Emeritus Trustee.
